Cancellation and Refund Policy

Subscription Services
Your Embody order (the “Subscription Service”) starts as soon as your payment is submitted. It covers a licensed clinician's review of your intake and, if treatment is approved, your first supply. Renewals are optional and start only if you choose them after a clinician approves treatment. By submitting payment and/or your intake, you accept this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
The Subscription Services may include access to healthcare providers, medications where clinically appropriate, lab services where applicable, online support, and related services that support your care.
The price of your Subscription Service is one bundled amount for the program you selected. It is made up of an assessment fee, which covers a licensed clinician's review of your intake, and the cost of the medication or other products in your plan. Any refund under this policy is made from those two parts as described below.
We make no guarantee regarding the results or effectiveness of any treatment or care plan you receive through the Subscription Services.
This Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of, and is governed by, Embody's Terms of Service.
When a Refund Applies
The assessment fee is charged when you submit your assessment and is not refundable. If we can't reach you to complete your visit, or a problem on our side stops it, everything you paid is refunded. Whether the product cost is refunded depends on one event: whether your order has been placed with the pharmacy.
- You cancel before your order is placed with the pharmacy: you receive a refund of the product cost, or the hold on your card for it is released. The assessment fee is kept. This applies even while a clinician reviews your assessment.
- A clinician reviews your assessment and disqualifies or declines you: you receive a refund of the product cost, or the hold on your card for it is released. The assessment fee is kept.
- Your order has been placed with the pharmacy: no refund is available. Damaged or incorrect items are replaced, as explained below.
If a clinician declines some of the treatments you requested, or approves a shorter supply than you paid for, you receive a refund of the product cost for what was not approved.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your Subscription Service at any time, for any reason. To cancel an order, contact patient support at support@bloome.health and request cancellation. You can also stop future renewals through your patient portal where available.
Cancelling stops future charges. If a renewal has already been charged and you cancel before the renewal order is placed with the pharmacy, contact patient support and you will receive a full refund of that renewal charge. Once the renewal order has been placed with the pharmacy, that charge is not refundable.
If your cancellation is not refunded, you keep access to the Subscription Services until the end of your current paid term.
Multi-Month and Bundled Plans
A multi-month or bundled plan is one purchase. If you cancel, or a clinician disqualifies or declines you, before its first order is placed with the pharmacy, you receive a refund of the product cost, or the hold on your card for it is released, and the assessment fee is kept. Once the first order has been placed with the pharmacy, no part of the plan is refundable, including months that have not yet shipped.
Cancelling a multi-month or bundled plan prevents it from renewing. If the plan is not refunded, you keep access to the Subscription Services through the end of the term you purchased.
Medications, Damaged Items, and Incorrect Items
Federal law generally prohibits pharmacies from accepting the return of prescription medications for refund or reuse once they have been ordered for a patient. As a result, medications cannot be returned or refunded once your order has been placed with the pharmacy.
Compounded medications are prepared specifically for you and, for that reason, are not eligible for return or refund once they have been ordered.
Please check every item as soon as it arrives. If anything appears damaged or incorrect, contact patient support at support@bloome.health right away.
- Damaged items: The pharmacy will replace a damaged item once it receives evidence of the damage. Replacement is the remedy; no refund will be provided.
- Incorrect items: The pharmacy will replace any incorrect item. Replacement is the remedy; no refund will be provided.
Disputed Charges
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact patient support at support@bloome.health before opening a dispute with your card issuer or bank, so that we have the opportunity to review the charge. Filing a payment dispute does not change the terms of this policy.
Subscription Services FAQs
What is included in my Subscription Services price?
Your Subscription Services price is a single bundled price for the subscription you purchased. It may cover consultations (live or through electronic form submission), review by a healthcare provider, medications fulfilled through a pharmacy, lab services, other healthcare services for which we collect payment, patient support, and other services that support your care. For refunds, the price is treated as an assessment fee plus the product cost, as described above.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind after I purchase?
If you cancel before your order is placed with the pharmacy, you receive a refund of the product cost, or the hold on your card for it is released. The assessment fee is charged when you submit your assessment and is not refundable. Once your order has been placed with the pharmacy, no refund is available.
I purchased a multi-month bundle and want to stop. Can I get a refund for the remaining months?
Only if you cancel before the first order is placed with the pharmacy, in which case you receive a refund of the product cost, or the hold on your card for it is released. The assessment fee is not refundable. After that order is placed, cancelling stops the plan from renewing, but no part of it is refunded.
What if my healthcare provider determines I am not eligible?
If a clinician reviews your assessment and disqualifies or declines you, your subscription is cancelled and you receive a refund of the product cost, or the hold on your card for it is released. The assessment fee is kept. Contact patient support at support@bloome.health with any questions.
